Programs for the Nights of al-Qadr
Salam Alaykum,
Programs for The Nights of al-Qadr are as follows:
1. On Sunday, July 5th (Ramadhan the 18th day/19th night) we will be the commemorating the first of the Laylatul Qadr nights and the striking of the deadly sword on the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali ibne Abi Talib, peace be upon them. Program will begin at 7:30pm with the recitation of Surah Yaseen, Dua al-Iftitaah, Majlis by Shaykh Saleem Bhimji - TOPIC: "As-Siraat al-Mustaqeem IS Amir al-Mo'mineen", matam, followed by Salatul Maghribain in Jama'at, and FULL SPONSORED IFTAR by an anonymous donor.
NOTE: There will be a class in the library for children aged 7 to 12 taught by Sr. Wafa Sadiq, HOWEVER children will be back in the main hall for the A'maal.
After Salat we will have the A'maal for the 19th night of Ramadhan.
2. On Tuesday, July 7th (Ramadhan the 20th day/21st night) we will be the commemorating the second of the Laylatul Qadr nights and the shahaadat of the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali ibne Abi Talib, peace be upon them. Program will begin at 7:30pm with the recitation of Dua Tawassul, Dua al-Iftitaah, Majlis by Shaykh Saleem Bhimji, matam, followed by Salatul Maghribain in Jama'at, and FULL SPONSORED IFTAR by an anonymous donor.
NOTE: There will be a class in the library for children aged 7 to 12 taught by Sr. Wafa Sadiq, HOWEVER children will be back in the main hall for the A'maal.
3. Thursday July 9th (Ramadhan the 22th day/23rd night) we will begin at 7:30 PMwith Surah Yaseen, followed by Dua Kumayl and then Dua Iftitaah followed by a short talk by Shaykh Saleem Bhimji concerning the importance of Laylatul Qadr and the BEST ACTS we can perform on this night. Salatul Maghribayn in Jamaat and then SPONSORED IFTAR by an anonymous donor. Thereafter, A'maal for 23rd to start.
NOTE: There will be a class in the library for children aged 7 to 12, HOWEVER children will be back in the main hall for the A'maal.
Friday July 10th: Salatul Jumuah will begin at 1:26 pm.
